Evaluation/ Screenings
Speech and Language or Feeding formal and informal evaluation of your child will be conducted in about an hour to an hour and half. If your child qualifies for services, parent and SLP will discuss a plan of action.
Speech and language screenings take about 10 minutes. A screening is a 'snapshot' of what the child can do. The therapist and parent will discuss results.
Language Learning Classes
Language Learning Classes are for children ages 2-5 who need extra exposure to language. Classes are with kids of similar ages. Classes are no larger than 4 and last 30-45 minutes. Classes give your child exposure to new vocabulary, new concepts, and grammar!
In Home S+L Therapy
TSL offers 30 minute in home speech and language therapy for children who qualify. Therapy sessions are tailored to you and your child's needs.
In Home Feeding Therapy
TSL offers 30 min in home feeding therapy for children who qualify. Ideally, the best time for therapy is during a meal time. Parent and SLP will work as a team to best suit the child's needs.
Day Care/ PreK Therapy
TSL offers 30 minute speech and language therapy at the child's Day Care or Private PreK location. The Facility, parent, and SLP will coordinate on best times for therapy services. Parent will always be contacted about services provided. Parent and SLP will work as a team to best suit the child's needs.
Parent Coaching
SLP and parent will have a 30 minute call (or Zoom) regarding speech/ language/ feeding concerns. The child is not present at this call and this is not a therapy session.
